Tivin Standard Poodles

A Higher Standard of Excellence

Puppies

Lucy whelped a gorgeous litter of 7 puppies on April 30, 2009.  There are 2 black boys, 3 black girls, 1 white boy and 1 white girl.  All of these puppies have gone on to their new homes and are doing fabulously.  If you are interested in being considered as a family for one of our babies in the future, please email or call us at (860) 739-2161.  This is our only litter planned for 2009, our next litter will be in the spring of 2011.  If you are interested in a puppy before then, please email and you will be referred to other reputable breeders.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see our puppies from 2007 and 2008, all of whom have gone on to their new homes where they are thriving. Enjoy!

The pups are up and about and enjoying their first taste of puppy food (other than mom's milk).  Lucy is thankful for the reprieve as well!  A little messy, but they are getting the hang of it.

The pups are growing quickly and learning lots of new stuff!  They love to run and play, have little arguments with each other, and even growl at the big dogs (who pretty much ignore them completely).  The boys are Indy, Red, and Chili.  The girls are Purple, Butterfly, Pink, and Flower.  They all have absolutely gorgeous faces and nice structures along with wonderful temperaments.  Pink is the quietest puppy in the litter, although her tail is always up and she loves to play.  Indy is the most outgoing, and always wants to be first!  Red is a little less demanding, Flower is sweet and demure but not shy.  Purple is the smallest and the scrappiest - always pushing herself in front despite being smaller than her brothers and sisters.  Butterfly is confident and outgoing, but not too demanding, which is pretty much the same as Chili.  Temperament testing will be done when the puppies are 6 weeks old so we can see who will fit in best with which family.  Each of these puppies is very special, and will make wonderful family members in their new homes once they are at least 8 weeks old.

Everyone is very active now and the puppies love to explore!  They are confident and fun-loving, checking out the world while running and playing at full speed.  Every puppy went up and down the A-frame at least once, so agility may be of interest to the puppy families in the future...All the babies are doing wonderful, growing and changing every day.  They are looking forward to a whole new world to learn and discover.
